The 2025 “For The Mindset Playlist” and “For The Mindset Mixes”Wrap Up and the 2026 Pivot in Christ

Another year, another wrap-up but this one feels different.

This post could have been a video, but I thought hey why not go back to the good old blog to introduce some of the exciting shifts in the InspirEnrich platform. Over the past year, I stepped back not just from blogging, but from social media in its entirety. I felt led to deconstruct and rebuild to sharpen my focus, my faith, and the foundation on which I create and share.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1–4 it says:

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance

— Ecclesiastes 3:1–4 (NIV)

This verse became a lifeline this year which I have read multiple times and it has acted as a reminder that seasons shape us before we shape them.

Jesus teaches about the foundation in Matthew 7:24-27 and how we should build on the rock, not on sand. This was central to a video I made years ago in the “Thoughts with Courtney” series about establishing the foundation before building on it. Over the course of the year I can look back and see how the Lord was calling me and showing me things even from then.

Why the Shift Matters

This year, I became more intentional about what I consume in every sense:

  • music,
  • books,
  • media,
  • Scripture,
  • community.

I found myself weighing not just what I listen to, but why I listen to it and how it aligns with Christ’s call on my life. That discernment shaped the “For The Mindset Playlist and For The Mindset Mixes” of the year: this isn’t just a collection of songs that sound good — it’s music that reflects faith, wrestles with struggle, and points toward hope.

And as I move forward, I don’t intend to continue reviewing or promoting secular music on this platform and there may be shifts in other content I post, nothing forced but just organic and true to me. What exists in past reviews and mixes stays up and accessible for now but where it no longer aligns I may remove it.

Artists & Projects That Shaped 2025

Below are some artists who stood out because of how their music resonated with my faith journey this year.

Still Shadey — Glorious News

Still Shadey’s 2024 project which was made into a deluxe this year was powerful, honest, and rooted in hope. His lyrics wrestle with identity, redemption, and faith, pointing always back to Christ’s transformative work. He really has depth in lyrics blending that feel of a seasoned rapper in the game and those new infusions of Afrobeats etc.

Still Shadey – Family Growth

DC3 — Energy & Craft

DC3’s work this year stood out for both its energy and intricacy. He brought that youthful feel for me replacing some of that I would regularly tap into in the secular spaces. There’s a confidence and slickness in his style, I am eagerly waiting on a project from him

DC3 – Holy Boppin

SSTEDI —  90s R&B Soul & Faithful Expression

SSTEDI brings a smooth yet soulful R&B presence into this year’s mix of artists. Her sound feels nostalgic yet fresh and deeply rooted in spiritual expression.

SSTEDI – Not Alone

Sondae — Texture

Sondae’s music for me in 2025 brought atmosphere and introspection to the playlist. His projects in are like sonic landscapes where faith and artistry met in a compelling way across many sounds.

Sondae – Lover

Caleb Gordon — Most Listened Artist of 2025

Caleb Gordon was my single most-played artist this year surpassing Drake in 2024 by over 1K more plays. He to me has been the artist who literally filled the Drake void. Covering multiple genres, catchy also with some depth, modern production.  No Remorse was my most played song of 2025 and it literally bring that militant feel in its energy to stand firm but equally open.

Caleb Gordon – No Remorse

InspirEnrich Music — My Creative Output

Alongside the playlist and mix, InspirEnrich now includes original music. These are songs I’ve conceptualised, written, and crafted as an expression of where I am spiritually and creatively. These aren’t designed for charts or trends they’re extensions of the internal work and faith journey I’m on, and a way to bring you in with me.

Whether it’s Scripture set to melody or emotional landscapes shaped through sound, these tracks reflect intention, not impulse.

Looking Toward 2026

There won’t necessarily be the same volume of output as before but there will be purpose. And that purpose is prayerfully placed in God’s hands: if more content comes, that’s His leading. If not, what exists here will still be a resource for those seeking encouragement and nourishment for the mind and spirit.

I often think of the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one. If inspirEnrich can reach even one soul with truth and hope, then that is enough. After all Inspire and Enrich are inseparable. You can’t have one without the other.
